The Democratic Action Party of Kenya (DAP-K) recently held a significant Women Caucus meeting in Trans-Nzoia County, led by Party Leader Hon. Eugene Wamalwa and Deputy Party Leader H.E. Governor George Natembeya. The gathering brought together women from across the county, focusing on enhancing women’s participation in leadership and strengthening their roles within the party.
In his address, Hon. Wamalwa commended the women and encouraged them to take active roles in politics, highlighting the importance of showcasing their capabilities in various leadership positions. Governor Natembeya reinforced his support, advocating for increased involvement of women in political and community roles.
This event is part of DAP-K’s broader strategy to hold similar forums across Kenya, targeting special interest groups and party members. The initiative aims to grow the party’s membership, amplify member contributions, and solidify DAP-K’s influence in national politics and community development.
