DAP-Kenya Welcomes Former ANC Nairobi Officials and New Defectors

Today, we officially welcomed a group of former ANC Nairobi officials who have now joined the Democratic Action Party of Kenya (DAP-K). The event was graced by our Party Leader, Hon. Eugene Wamalwa; Secretary General, Hon. Dr. Eseli Simiyu; Treasurer, Beatrice Mbingi; Hon. Peter Salasya; Youth Leader, Ken Babu; among other leaders.

The party leadership expressed their excitement at the growing momentum and encouraged the new members to become ambassadors for the party—mobilizing their friends, families, and communities to join the movement.

In his remarks, the Party Leader emphasized the party’s commitment to inclusivity, calling on Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) and the youth to join DAP-K in large numbers and actively participate in the political process.

Also present were defectors from ODM and aspiring leaders from Kiambu County, who expressed their confidence in the party’s vision and direction. They echoed the party’s position in opposition, firmly demanding that the government take urgent action to reduce the high cost of living affecting millions of Kenyans
